AGCO increases investment in Regina based parts distribution center

Waiting for parts can be brutally frustrating during very time critical moments like planting or harvest. Part inventories at the dealership have shrunk and farmers more regularly have to wait for a part to be shipped across the continent or the world.

AGCO has announced that they will be expanding their parts distribution facility in Regina, Saskatchewan but the total value of the investment was not disclosed. This will be the largest AGCO Parts investment in North America which will provide major opportunities for AGCO Western Canadian farmers.

According to AGCO the Regina based investment will provide:

  • Provide 50 percent more storage. The additional storage space allows greater breadth and depth of parts inventory.
  • Increase inventory by 30 percent. We’re bringing more parts closer to the customer, which further improves delivery time.
  • Improve facing fill (the amount of parts within an order being shipped from Regina’s facility) to over 90 percent – the highest of any regional AGCO Parts distribution center in North America.

AGCO Parts held a groundbreaking ceremony on August 24, 2017. The work will be completed by early 2018.
